if it's Thursday...

If it's Thursday I must be getting a car serviced. Well, atl least 4 out of the last 8 plus back-to-back Friday's of leaving work early to pick-up the car. The first 6 were mainly time and little money but today's was a doozy ($1600+). As usual, went in thinking $400-500 but we all know it seldom stays near there. Can't say it we didn't see it coming. We thought maybe it would possibly ballon to the $700 range but a new battery and leaky waterpump did us in.

Returning home from dropping off the car I decided to see how the iPhone has made it's way into my life. After a 30min walk to the San Mateo caltrain station, I was able to check when the next train to the station near my home was with iCaltrain. Hmm, the ticket machine doesn't accept bills. The train came right on time (10:02) and 9 mins later I was at the Belmont station. Unfortunately I had purchased a zones 1 - 2 ticket and I really need a zone 2 -2 ticket.
